Peugeot 402 Andreau (1936)
The 402 Andreau was a design prototype conceived by the renowned aerodynamic engineer Jean Andreau, commissioned by Peugeot to apply his theories of aerodynamics to the 402.

Five examples were produced in 1936, including this one, currently kept at the Peugeot Adventure Museum in Sochaux and presented for the first time at the Paris Motor Show in October 1936.

Alhoewel, mocht ik later als ik groot ben

Petite in its form, mobile in its conception and adamantly green in its virtue; this is the Peugeot XB1 concept, conceived by the design team of Thierry Fischer, Kévin Biolluz, Karim Bennani and Frédéric Le Sciellour. This fully electric vehicle is conceptualized for our very future, albeit for short distances. The nimbleness of this bantam scooter conveniently allows it to maneuver through congested traffic areas and even through the sidewalks. The sturdy battery pack can uplift the speed of XB1 to up to 35 km/h, and on sidewalk to 15 km/h.

Peugeot BB1

A dedicated teaser site has been launched and it displays the words “Its mother is a scooter. Its father is a car.” above a countdown clock which at last check would stop running in around 18 hours.
The name BB1 originally referred to a motorised bike from the 1960s. Not much in the way of information is forthcoming at this stage except perhaps that the BB1 will be at Frankfurt.
From these pictures it appears the car is meant for city living and driving, just judging from its size. At first we thought “smart competitor” but a second look at the interior shots reveals two extra seats at the rear. The roof appears to have some kind of pattern suggesting solar power or something similar. The steering mechanism is not a wheel but a horn-shaped device that’s clearly taken from the world of bikes. The BB1 has four wheels, two doors and LED lights. The countdown has begun.

Peugeot EX1 Electric Race Car
As the Paris Motor Show is around the corner, the list of vehicles unwrapped before their premier is getting longer.
The latest one is from French carmaker, Peugeot.
The brand has unveiled an all electric, all wheel drive EX1 concept,
powered by one electric motor per axle, each supplying 170bhp and a constant 177lb ft of torque.
Electric motors get the vital juice from 30kWh of lithium ion batteries onboard
The concept has been created as a celebration to mark the Marque’s 200th anniversary.
The EX1, as per Peugeot, will be able to hit 0-100km/h in well under 3.0 sec at its optimum settings.
This all-carbon fiber two-seater roadster weighs just less than 1000kg and measures only 0.9m in height and 1.77 m in width,
its length has not been specified.

Peugeot EX1 electric racer has been built to push the boundaries of electric vehicle performance and
has already dispatched a standing quarter mile in 14.4sec, a standing kilometre in 28.16sec
and a standing mile in 41.09sec at the Linas-Montlhery autodrome.
Also, a number of other timed acceleration runs which, if confirmed by the FIA,
will make it the world’s fastest accelerating EV over six different distances.
The other features of the vehicle include two sport bucket seats, a carbon fiber passenger cell,
a harness and a safety cell which has been designed to also offer the roll-over protection.
Peugeot hasn’t dropped any info about the range of batteries or price either.
